Home Delivered Meals The Home Delivered Meals program currently serves the towns and communities of Bailey, Middlesex, Samaria, Castalia, Corinth, Duke, Spring Hope, Nashville, West Mount, Red Oak and Dortches. Congregate Nutrition Center Nash County’s only Congregate Site is located at Covenant Homes Retirement Community in Rocky Mount. Participants meet together to enjoy a hot lunch time meal and fellowship. Contact Brenda Shields at 459-1367 for more information. Discounted Nutritional Supplements Nutritional Supplement Beverages are available for purchase at a discount price. Participation in this program requires a written doctor’s prescription, Nash County residence and meeting the income standard. Contact Amy Farmer at 459-7681 for more information. Pot-Luck Lunch On the third Wednesday of each month the senior center hosts a pot-luck lunch program. Seniors 60 years of age or older are welcome to join us for lunch and bring something to contribute. Participants can bring a meat, vegetable, fruit, dessert, bottled drinks, plates, napkins, forks, spoons, knives, or plastic cups. The program begins at 11:45am, join us! Dinner Club Our dinner club visits a different restaurant each month. During the summer months dinner club meets at 5:30pm at the predetermined restaurant and during the winter months dinner club meets at 12:15pm.
