Childbirth Classes

Nash County Health Department offers Childbirth classes for your enjoyment! The classes will give you information about pregnancy, about good healthy habits to protect your baby during pregnancy and they help prepare you for labor.

Classes are taught at:

• Our Nashville office every Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 PM
• Our Rocky Mount office every Tuesday morning at 8:30 am.
• Evening classes are availble quarterly--call Amber Perry (459-1240) for more information or to register!

Classes are based on the Lamaz philosophy of birth and subjects will include:

• Labor Interventions
• Breathing and Relaxation techniques
