Nash County offers programs throughout the county and operates a 30 acre park located in Red Oak. This park, open daily from 8:00a.m.-8:30p.m, contains 2 playgrounds, 2 picnic shelters, 4 ball fields, large multi-purpose field, 2 basketball courts, 4 tennis courts and a .6 mile walking trail.
Adopt a pet from the Nash County Animal Shelter. Animal Control impounds unwanted, stray, and roaming cats and dogs. Always check with the shelter if your pet is missing. Have your pets spayed or neutered.
