What is a County Commissioner?
The Commissioners are the governing body of Nash County. Nash County is divided into 7 commissioner districts, nearly equal in population. The boundaries are adjusted every 10 years following the Federal census.

When do they meet?
Nash County Commissioners meet at 10 a.m. on the First Monday of Every Month on the Third Floor of the Nash County Office Building. The public is encouraged to attend.

Registered voters may find their
Commissioner's District at the
State Board of Elections website when checking your voter registration status.

Follow these steps to find your Commissioner:

  • Go to the State Board of Elections website at http://www.sboe.state.nc.us/
  • On the left side of the page, select the option "Check Your Voter Registration"
