About Home Health
The Nash County Home Health Agency, Inc., is a nonprofit agency. It was created in 1975 as a service through the Nash County Healhome health 1th Department. The Home Health Agency is certified for Medicare and Medicaid and licensed by the State of North Carolina, Division of Health Service Regulation.

Home Health is medical care provided at home where a patient can feel more comfortable and secure. Nash County's Home Health Agency provides a full range of health and therapy services to patients and they teach families to help care for their family member who is ill.

What We Do
The Home Health team develops a plan of care based on a physician's order. Registered nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, medical social workers, and home health aides visit the patient at home as needed.

A Registered Nurse is always on call, 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure quality, continuous care. Family, friends or the patient may be taught care techniques needed between home health visits so the patient can stay in familiar surroundings and become as self-sufficient as possible.
