Nash County Parks and Recreation offers a wide variety of special events and activities for your enjoyment. Some of these great events include our Daddy Daughter Dance, Easter Egg Hunt, Outdoor Movie Night, and Calls from Santa. Nash County Parks and Recreation is constantly working on creating new events, so check back often to see what we've got coming up!

9th Annual Daddy Daughter Sweetheart Dance

Men get read to "cut a rug" with your daughters! Take your daughter out to dinner then come out to the Nash County Agricultural Center wearing your best attire as you dance the night away. Click on the link above for the registration form!

Youth Activities:

Preschool Programs
We are now offering "Sports Time for Toddlers", "Preschool Movement and Music Time", Preschool Creative Dance Movement", "Toddler Art", "Preschool Art", and "Tiny Ballerinas". Get more information here.

One Day Workshops
Join in on some fun learning about mono printing on a Jell-O plate. Each person will go home with a Jell-O plate that they can continue to play with at home for weeks!

Learn some new dance moves, get fit, or just enjoy some company. Check out these
new programs for our Seniors!

Seniors Pickelball
Pickleball is a wonderfull fitness and social activity that combines the elements of 
tennis, table tennis, and badminton. It is played on a smaller version of a tennis court.
No experience is necessary, and equipment is provided.

Walking for Seniors
This program promotes wellness and physical activity for seniors. Walking and exercising 30 minutes a day will reduce levels of stress, high blood pressure, cholesterol, risk of heart disease, and weight. Join us at Spaulding Gym to get healthy and fit!
